For the past 5 years, I’ve been doing online businesses alongside other offline income-generating undertakings. One area which gave me a real launch into online work was my understanding of creation of websites, how to host them, and performance issues related to online systems.
My drive to learn web design started back in 2015. I searched for several offline training offers but most of them were beyond my budget reach. I bargained and tried to save and I finally got one which was quite affordable.
I registered for the course and was set to begin the next day. The course was to take 2 months. I don’t like to taint the image of people but I can confidently say that the course was a pure gimmick. The trainer had no idea of what he was teaching. He was simply a quack. He had no past experience designing websites and he kept on lying to me how he had created a certain institution’s website.
Added to this, we never wrote any code! Believe me. He just took me rounds and instead of training me he gave me unbecoming excuses. Let me end it just there.
So how did I end up learning web design?
After these frustrations, I went and got as many e-books as I could on web development. I had books on PHP programming, HTML, CSS, and MySQL. I also read books on online security and how websites are hacked.
Then after this, I went on to create my first website, I called it a funny name which I later dropped for Ncenafi.
From then on, I’ve been creating not just websites, but online systems to perform different functions. My web design and development skills have improved greatly over time.
At some point, I felt that I would be of much use to you and the rest of humanity if I set a system where I would be able to transfer my knowledge to others. That’s how Ncenafi-academy.com was born.
My drive is to ensure that anybody who signs for this course and follows all the training exercises, tasks, insights, and steps will be able to emerge with ready-to-use web design skills and will not need any further guidance to design, develop, and host websites.

So what are you going to learn?
There is much you are going to learn. Let me give you a simple glimpse.
The course is divided into 2 modules, each module designed to last one month. The 2 months duration were arrived at from an accurate estimate that a trainee who is engaged in other things such as job and business will have no more than 2 hours per day to spare. The weekends were excluded when making the course duration estimate.
If you are a fast learner, you are free over the weekends and you are eager to acquire these high-value skills, I bet that you can complete the course within less than a month’s time. But if you don’t, I will still be available to support you, answer your questions, and clarify things until the said two months are over.
Module 1:
In module 1 you will learn about Basic Web Design. Below are some of the key areas:

Module 2
In this module, you will learn Advanced Web Design and development. The backend language which will be used is PHP. (If it’s your first time to hear about this, you need not worry. You will be fully conversant with this by the time you are finishing this module.).

A database-driven website is quite dynamic. Pages are served dynamically. This concept is what is used among developers to create intuitive and intelligent online systems. If you just want to learn this, then this is the right course for you.
